Interface language

The dashboard ships in English and Russian (Русский). Everything in the interface is translated — navigation, reports, settings, and confirmation dialogs.

Switching

Settings → Appearance → Interface language. The change applies immediately; no reload needed.

The choice is saved to your account, so it follows you to other browsers and devices. It’s also cached locally, which is what makes the login screen appear in the right language before you’ve authenticated.

Language is per user, not per install. Two people on the same tracker can each use their own.

How the language is chosen

On load, Roitrack takes the first of these that applies:

  1. A ?lang=en or ?lang=ru parameter in the URL
  2. Your saved account preference
  3. The last language used in this browser
  4. Your browser’s language, if it’s one Roitrack speaks
  5. English

The URL parameter is handy for sending someone a link that opens in a specific language, or for checking a screen in the other language without changing your own setting.

What stays in English

Deliberately untranslated, because translating them would make them harder to use:

  • Metric abbreviations — CVR, EPC, ROI, CPC
  • Macro tokens{click_id}, {payout}, and the rest
  • Event columns — Event 1 through Event 10
  • Timezone identifiers
  • Anything you typed — your campaign, offer, and lander names are shown as you entered them

Error messages coming from your server may also appear in English.

Reporting a translation problem

Found something untranslated, mistranslated, or overflowing its button? Send a screenshot to @roitrack on Telegram. Mentioning which screen it’s on saves a round trip.
